Our Athletes
When we partnered with Special Olympics New York to develop “Sage and Spirit: Inspired by Inclusion,” we didn’t just work with an organization. We collaborated closely with four remarkable athletes: Angelo Sanetick, Ethan Spino, Dana Oliver and Julia Harris.
They brought their perspectives and talents to every meeting, and now, we’d like to share those with you. You’ll find each athlete’s story below—their passions, achievements, and what they enjoyed most about working with Azuna.
Julia Harris
Julia does a lot—and she excels in it all. She’s earned both gold and silver medals at the Special Olympics New York State Games, serves on the Special Olympics New York Athlete Leadership Council, and founded inspirational speaking organization License 2 Smile, through which she’s delivered her messages to more than 15,000 people.
What sports do you play?
I compete in swimming and Unified Bocce.
How long have you been with Special Olympics NY?

What is your favorite part about being an athlete?
My favorite part about being a Special Olympics athlete is being able to compete to the best of my ability with true athletic spirit alongside many friends.
What has been your favorite part of the process of working with Azuna?
I have loved working with the Azuna team in every part of this project from designing the packaging, picking the scent and name. Everyone has been so nice and has taught us so much.
